Horserace Betting Levy Board
Through its investment of some £2 million a year of levy funds in equine veterinary science and education, the Horserace Betting Levy Board has a major interest in the improvement of the health and welfare of racing and breeding Thoroughbred horses. The HBLB funds much of the equine veterinary research carried out in Britain and is keen to encourage the uptake of the practical outcomes of this research in the racing and breeding industries for the benefit of the horse. The Seminar is an ideal forum for presenting and discussing research outcomes, and their application to the Thoroughbred, to a wide industry audience.

Cheltenham Racecourse is proud to be a staunch supporter of this event. Equine welfare and improvement of the Thoroughbred have always been a key focus for us and will remain in the forefront of our thinking long into the future. The programme for this year's seminar shows just how important this event has become and we are delighted to be able to play our part by hosting it for the seventh year. We look forward to continuing our association with the Thoroughbred Racing and Breeding Seminar for many years to come.
